Join the Board of Library Trustees
The St. Mary’s County Board of Library Trustees has two vacancies for the term January 2022 – December 2027. The five-year term is unpaid, but successful candidates will help guide library policy and learn about library procedures in-depth. A once-a-month morning meeting on the 3rd Monday of each month at 10 a.m. is required. Meetings are televised and shown on YouTube. Vist the St. Mary’s County Government website to submit your application. Deadline to apply is November 4 at 5 p.m. Select candidates will be contacted for interviews. Interviews will take place November 8 – 19. The names of three candidates per position will be forwarded to the Commissioners of St. Mary’s County for their final selection. This is a great opportunity for volunteers wishing to help the Library grow and thrive.
