- You may request information about one ancestor per submission.
- You may submit no more than two research requests per month.
- Please provide as much information as possible in your request.
- A librarian will research requests for ancestors within the state of Maryland using the Library’s available resources. These resources include our Genealogy and Maryland collections, our newspaper database, and other local resources.
- The Library does not employee a Genealogy Librarian, so your request may take more than a week to fill. The Library has the right to refuse unreasonable or burdensome requests.
- The Library does not guarantee that your request can be filled, or that all information will be accurate.
