Meet Harriet Tubman!
St. Mary’s County Library is pleased to invite the public to a special Black History month presentation of ‘Harriet Tubman, the Chosen One’ on Saturday, February 3 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lexington Park Library. Come and meet Harriet Tubman, portrayed by historical performer Gwendolyn Briley-Strand in this riveting one-woman show. Recommended for adults, teens, and children ages 5 & up. Free; no registration required. This event is co-sponsored by the NAACP of St. Mary’s County.
