What Can You Do with the Memory Lab?
Convert music from cassette tapes to MP3 and video from VHS/VHS-C tapes to MP4
Convert 35mm slides, negatives, documents, and photos to digital (JPG, PDF)
Convert 8mm and Super 8 Reels to digital
Each Memory Lab also includes external DVD and 3.5″ floppy disc drives.
What You’ll Need
Use of the media conversion station is free. You’ll need something to store your converted media on, like a USB drive or the login information for your Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. Cassette and VHS conversion are all done in real time—meaning a 90-minute VHS takes 90 minutes to convert. It takes about 10 minutes for every 1 minute of film on the Wolverine 8mm and Super 8.
