Library Card Design Contest Guidelines
- Anyone living in St. Mary’s County may submit an entry. One submission per person.
- Your design may be submitted on paper at any St. Mary’s County Library location using this template ,
OR you may submit your entry digitally below. - Digital files should be high resolution (300dpi) and must be in PNG or JPG format.
- Digital files cannot exceed 15MB.
- All entries must be submitted between April 1 and April 25, 2025. No late submissions will be accepted.
- One winner in each category, youth (ages 0-12), teen (ages 13-17), and adult (ages 18+), will be selected by a panel made up of a member of the St. Mary’s County Art Council, a St. Mary’s County Library employee, and a Board Member of Friends of the St. Mary’s County Library.
- The artwork will be judged on creativity, design, and how well it communicates the message “I Love My Library!”
- Winners will be notified by phone or email by May 9.
- St. Mary’s County Library will provide 5 days for artists to pick up their physical submissions at the Leonardtown Library during normal business hours. If submissions are not picked up during the pick-up period, artwork will not be returned.
