St. Mary’s County Library may install appropriate seasonal and other decorations in public and staff areas. Decorations should be respectful and sensitive to employees and the public.

As a government-funded agency, the Library is nonpartisan and inclusive; out of respect for all of our community members and colleagues, symbols or decorations with religious, political, or partisan social content may not be displayed in public areas and should be limited in employee areas.

Any decorations viewed as offensive or in excess by reasonable standards may be removed.
